My Love for Linen – and why less is sometimes more

There is something about linen which is wonderful. The way it looks and feels is like nature itself. For me, beach and linen go hand in hand with each other. If I was lucky enough to live in a house by the sea, I would dress in these clothes every day in the summer. It’s the fresh, light crispness of it which somehow gives one a sense of freedom and wellbeing.

Sunrise and Sunsets

Every now and then we see a spectacular sunset or cloud formation, and I must admit that in former times I used to miss photographing them as I was never any good at being ready with a camera. These days, I do try to capture the beautiful things around me as it gives me so much pleasure to look at them afterwards.

Kitchen Design

They say the kitchen is the heart of the home. Well, I heart (love) these three kitchens very much. Completely different in their style, layout and colour scheme, you could wonder why I didn’t choose three which are similar. I like coastal style interiors but I also like a little bit of rustic (not too much) and a small amount of shabby chic (again not too much) and I think these three have those elements. Sometimes, it is interesting to like different styles and not to be completely stuck to one look (although I do have a favourite).
