It’s no secret, I love the coast and everything connected to it. Everyone who knows me well, knows this fact. Parts of my house are filled with coastal design accessories. When it comes to the home, I love the natural textures of solid wood furniture, especially driftwood, limed oak and natural flooring, teamed together with light, refreshing seaside colours. I am also a massive fan of New England style houses and interiors. I hold two City and Guilds qualifications in Interior Design and Craft and have been interested in architecture and interior design since I was a teenager.
I also hold a City and Guilds qualification in Floristry. Of course this means I love flowers and floral design. I also enjoy gardening and am very fond of the cottage garden style with scented stocks and roses. I will from time to time be publishing articles about floristry and flower varieties which I hope some of you will find interesting.
I love being outside! Whenever the weather is good enough, I am out there. I am a big fan of al fresco dining, sitting in the garden with a glass of wine and watching beautiful sunsets. Apart from the main topics mentioned above, my other hobbies and interests include photography, sewing, scrapbooking, baking and walking. The walking is because of the baking, have to work it off somehow 😉 I also love going on holidays to the coast, home and away.
